Sterilisation
All of the instruments we use to do a Tattoo or
Piercing, come in Sealed, sterilised Bags or packets.
The
indication strips on the packets / steri bags tell you if they are sterile
or not. And they will be shown to you before the start of any Tattoo or
Piercing.
Also all of our bottles and work surfaces (even our
power supplies and ultra sonic baths) are covered, in an nonporous,
disposable, plastic wrap for each costumer, and as with your needles
ink and razors, are disposed of in your presence.
This is to insure that,
not only are you getting a Tattoo or Piercing done in the most sterile
environment posable,
but also ..... you know you are.
All of our non
disposable equipment, such as tips, grips & stems, clamps and
scissors,
are then soaked in medical detergent, thoroughly cleaned,
then placed in an ultra sonic
bath (a device that uses sound waves to
implode microscopic bubbles through out it's
bathing tank, removing any
trace of debris form even the hardest to reach areas of the
equipment.)
Then rinsed and bagged ready for sterilisation.
When sterilising
bagged items, to insure the they are sterilised properly, you have to use
a Vacuum autoclave
with a drying
cycle.
In all our studios we use : Prestige Medical Century 2 Vacuum
autoclaves
These are top of the range Vacuum autoclaves that rivals most hospital
autoclaves.
They have pre-set electronic, sterilising cycles to ensure that the
equipment has
been
thoroughly sterilised and dried before the door can be opened. So that the
contents of
the bags are 100 percent sterile and safe for use.
They also have
printers fitted the keep accurate track of every cycle, and are
regularly
maintained by the manufactures engineers. To make sure that
they stay in peek working
order.
No other Tattoo studios in our
areas, have any thing even close to this level of
Sterilisation or
work ethic, but don't just take our word for it come and see for your
selves!
